Boss Hall - The provision of small scale facilities such as gyms and cafes within employment areas is welcomed as it provides benefits for the existing businesses and employees, and opportunities to diversify and strengthen the offer of these areas. This provides a sustainable approach and encourages less reliance on the private car. It is felt that consideration should also be given to a more flexible approach that would facilitate re-use for a wider range of employment generating uses, where this would reinforce the viability and function of the wider employment area.
