NHS England (NHSE) objects to the inclusion of the health centre required to serve the proposed Garden Suburb as an infrastructure item to serve the southern neighbourhood only.
The requirement for a new health centre is based on the overall growth to be accommodated within the Garden Suburb and, therefore, should be included as an item of strategic infrastructure.
The omission of the health centre from the list of strategic infrastructure to serve the Garden Suburb is not 'positively prepared', 'justified', 'effective' or 'consistent with national planning policy' and, therefore cannot be considered 'sound'.
