Original masterplan for Ravenswood has this a Employment Uses, and with the recent restaurant/bars developments, it would probably suit a focus on more employment use, with scope for live/work units or residential over other uses - perhaps scope for an eco business park. Would also want to consider transportation implications, following recent withdrawal of public transport services; perhaps also a constraint to ensure no residential development takes place on the site (but no restriction on employment uses) until the residential land by the primary school is under construction (which appears to not have an allocation reference?).

But would suggest consideration be given to allocating some of this site to accomodate car parking for possible 'park & ride' if not retained on site IP152. This need not be laid out as dedicated 'park & ride' as the area is served by the existing bus network. This may assist some of the traffic pressure on the Nacton Rd.

Ensure the quality cycle infrastructure from the Ravenswood estate continues here. If possible making it even higher quality and more likely that people will cycle and walk rather than take the motor car.
