Whilst part of the site allocations document, policy CS3 sets out the strategy and enables the scope for what the document will cover. Whilst consultation is concurrent at present, and given this scope and the joint aspiration for the Wet Dock Crossing to access the island site, the policy should set out measures that support the delivery of this crossing. An agreed masterplan would appear to be an important step to delivering the crossing and the policies in the site allocations document.

Page 36 Para 8.40 bullet b Policy CS3 We object to the deletion of the text from "b. Allocate sites for development in IP-One DELETED: including land to provide approximately 2,000 dwellings;" as this further reduces the commitment to building new homes in IP-One. We believe a target should be reinstated and that this should then be designated a priority to help regeneration.
