We support this policy and are pleased to note that some of our previous comments have been taken onboard, with reference made to the requirement for site -specific Flood Risk Assessments to be submitted in support of new development in Flood Zones 2 and 3, in the supporting text.

However, there is still no mention of the application of the Sequential Test. We are pleased to have had sight of a copy of the Council's Flood Risk Sequential Test and Exception Test Statement (March 2015). However, this document is not referenced within this DPD. We therefore strongly recommend you amend the wording of this policy to show how you have had regard to the flood risk Sequential Test in your allocation of sites, and to include the requirement to apply the Exception test, where appropriate.
