SOCS endorse the Northern Fringe Protection Group's points. The CS relies heavily on a transport modal shift from cars to more sustainable modes such as walking, cycling and public transport. This will be challenging and it is suggested that an additional indicator of the Census travel mode to work data be included to improve soundness.
