Representation Summary:

The company's land located off Toller Road is annotated on the proposals map as a
site to be used exclusively for employment purposes. This is considered to be unduly restrictive in the context of a still uncertain economy and ignores attempts to market the site for employment use over 10 years. The policy ought to reflect that at the very least an element of other land uses e.g. limited retail and/or residential should be incorporated into the policy for the allocation of the specific parcel of land (reference 208). The allocation should be changed or mixed use to deliver regeneration.
