Representation Summary:

There are a number of errors associated with Plan 5.
The Plan does not appear to be based on up to date information regarding County Wildlife Sites (CWS). In 2014 there were a number of amendments to CWS boundaries which are not shown on Plan 5. Eg. - the changes to the boundaries of: Ransomes Europark Heathland; River Orwell; Alderman Canal; Pipers Vale; Braziers Wood;and Pond Hall Car and Meadows that are not shown correctly on Plan 5. The area of Bridge Wood CWS is omitted.IP067 Former British Energy Site is shown as Potential Development Site with wildlife interest Rank 5 or below, yet wasn't surveyed as part of the Ipswich Wildlife Audit.
Corrections to Plan 5 need to be made to reflect CWS boundaries and to ensure that site rankings reflect the Ipswich Wildlife Audit findings.the buffer zones and corridors do not extend beyond the Borough boundary. The ecological network should be shown to extend across the Borough boundary in accordance with the NPPF(para 117)
