Objective 3 of the adopted Core Strategy requires that 18,000 additional jobs are to be provided in the Ipswich Policy Area between 2001 and 2025 (draft policy CS13 of the draft Core Strategy and Policies Development Plan Document) encourages the provision of in the region of 12,500 jobs between 2011 and 2031). In accordance with this objective, it is estimated that the Ipswich Business Park has the capacity to generate up to 2,000 new jobs within the B1, B2 and B8 Business use classes.
