Draft Site Allocations and Policies (incorporating IP-One Area Action Plan) Development Plan Document

IP152 - Airport Farm Kennels

Representation ID: 447

Received: 03/03/2014

Respondent: ipswich buses ltd

Legally compliant? Not specified

Sound? Not specified

Duty to co-operate? Not specified

Representation Summary:

Land was previously allocated at Airport Farm for a park and ride site (IP152). Traffic flows in East Ipswich along Nacton Road/Landseer Road have increased significantly with the development around Ransomes Europark. Consideration should be given in the area of Airport Farm or land off Alnesbourn Crescent to a park and ride car park into which our buses on service 1 presently in Ravenswood would be diverted. The bus service element of a park and ride service would be provided at little or no cost to the public purse as it would involve diverting a service already in the area.
