Call for Sites 2025

We are starting work on a new Ipswich Borough Council Local Plan. We are seeking sites for uses such as housing or employment which will then be assessed and considered for inclusion in the new Local Plan. The call for sites process allows you to tell us about potential development sites across the Borough.

Submissions for housing sites should be at least 0.1 hectares in size and able to accommodate at least 5 dwellings. Commercial development sites should be able to accommodate at least 500sqm of floor space. 

Please note that submitting a site does not guarantee it will be included in the new Local Plan or granted planning permission.
