Representation Summary:

My clients, Applekirk Properties Ltd. and Beeson Properties Ltd. object to that part of CS2 which proposes the reduction of proposed retail floor space by 20,000 m² and considers that such a move is counter-intuitive to the CS retail strategy which is based upon a diversified and improved retail offer for the town. Further, whilst understanding the need for protection of the existing centre my clients have advanced a scheme through discussion with the council supported (plus retail assessment) which demonstrates that a retail led regeneration of the waterfront at the Stoke bridge end could deliver the council's retail aspirations.
