Fully support vision for a greater mix of uses in the town centre to ensure that people will be drawn to the town centre. Retail uses alone will no longer achieve this. In Ipswich residential areas are largely detached from the town centre, placing residential development nearer or in the town centre will create a more vibrant and successful town.
