ABP supports the safeguarding of the operational areas of the Port through their definition as Employment Areas E9 and E12 on the Policies Map and under Policy DM32. ABP welcomes the recognition at para 9.32.6 of the need for ABP's specific operational requirements and consents and licences for the handling and storage of hazardous substances to be taken into account in any development planned in the vicinity of these areas.
