I act for Corindale Properties Ltd. owners of a site in Toller Road close to the waterfront which is within a designated employment zone in the site-specific DPD. Policy CS2 (e) effectively deems this land to be suitable for only B2/B8 uses on the basis that it is outside any designated town centre area to which B1 uses should be focused for their location. This is much too restrictive, ignores the development or lack of development experience of the last 10 years with such sites. Furthermore, the single land use concept for such sites is we think wrong.
