As set out above, the PPG supports an increase in the total housing provision included in a local plan where it could help deliver the required number of affordable homes. By adopting a more ambitious growth scenario, such as Scenario C, there is more chance that the Local Plan Review will deliver the required level of affordable housing over the plan period.
