The proposal would result in increased traffic, noise and light pollution. Lavenham and Kelly Roads are already 'overparked' and emergency vehicles have difficulty gaining access. Existing allocated car parking spaces are already used by non-residents not authorised to park in them. Additionally the view across the green would be lost as well as its value as a recreational facility. The value of adjacent properties would also be affected.
