I am writing to object to the proposed plans for building on the green between Lavenham and Kelly Road. My fiancée and I are new residents to Lavenham Road as we bought our house in December and we are extremely upset to hear that there are plans to build on the green. One of the reasons we purchased the house was because we felt it was a quiet and family friendly area however we are concerned that this will change with the new building plans. It will increase the amount of traffic in the area, not only during construction but also once the new residents have moved in which we feel will not only be a safety risk to children and family pets but will also cause unnecessary congestion. We are also concerned that the increase of buildings and the decrease of green areas will cause properties to lose value, this is a particular concern to us as we have purchased our house so recently. We feel that building more houses and flats on the green will have huge negative impact on the community and landscape on and around Lavenham and Kelly Road and this is why we strongly object to the plans.

The council's plans to build on the green are a great worry for us. We hope that you take this into consideration and we would be more then happy to further explain our objections and concerns.
